Placements24 is seeking a knowledgeable Medical Science Liaison to support the North West region. This hybrid role requires extensive travel to engage Key Opinion Leaders and healthcare professionals, while handling remote administrative tasks and strategic planning.

As the scientific ambassador for our client’s products and research initiatives, you will disseminate medical information, identify investigator-initiated research, and coordinate with R&D and commercial teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree in a life science field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical affairs or clinical development.
• Proven ability to engage scientifically with physicians and researchers.
• Strong understanding of drug development, trials, and data interpretation.
• Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with KOLs and HCPs in designated therapeutic areas.
• Deliver accurate scientific information on company products and disease states.
• Respond to unsolicited medical information requests from healthcare professionals.
• Identify and support investigator-initiated research opportunities.
• Gather and communicate insights from KOLs to internal R&D and commercial teams.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and dynamic Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join their team supporting the North West region. As an MSL, you will be the key scientific and medical expert responsible for engaging with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and healthcare professionals (HCPs) to disseminate scientific information, foster collaborative research, and gather insights on therapeutic areas. This hybrid role requires significant travel within the territory, balanced with remote work for administrative tasks and strategic planning. You will be the scientific ambassador for our client's innovative products and research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs and HCPs in designated therapeutic areas.

Requirements

• Advanced scientific degree (Ph.D., Pharm.D., M.D., or equivalent) in a relevant life science field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical affairs, clinical development, or a related role within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven ability to engage scientifically and clinically with physicians and researchers.
• Strong understanding of the drug development process, clinical trial design, and data interpretation.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
