Medical Resources Group is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established multidisciplinary Medical Centre, for an experienced Practice Manager. The successful candidate will oversee the overall operational management, ensuring efficient administration and exceptional patient service delivery in a fast-paced clinic.

The role emphasizes staff leadership, regulatory compliance and alignment with healthcare legislation, with responsibilities spanning clinical support, front-office processes

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12.
• 3+ years' management experience in a leadership role.
• 5+ years' clinical or healthcare industry experience, preferably in a multidisciplinary medical practice.
• Experience managing admin and operations of a medical practice.
• Sound understanding of healthcare operations, patient administration, compliance and staff management.
• Excellent management, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong planning, organisational, coordination and follow-up abilities.
• Self-motivated, proactive and able to take initiative while accepting accountability and responsibility.
• Strong customer service and patient care orientation.
• Able to work independently and solve problems effectively.
• Bilingual (English and Afrikaans preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Full operational management of a multidisciplinary medical practice.
• Ensure alignment with healthcare legislation, ethical standards and policies.
• Lead branch operations including clinical support, administration, front-office processes and service delivery.
• Drive implementation of national operational initiatives and local process improvements.
• Monitor daily workflows for smooth and professional operations.
• Manage relationships between health professionals, staff, patients and leadership.
• Ensure operational stability through effective communication and timely issue resolution.
• Foster a professional, patient-centred service culture.
• Monitor costs, turnover and financial performance.
• Prepare and submit reports on budget variances and KPIs.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and cost-control initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in internal audits and implement corrective actions.
