Medical Resources Group is recruiting a Practice Manager for a well-established multidisciplinary Medical Centre in Midrand, Johannesburg. The role oversees the overall operational management, delivery of patient-focused service and regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will lead staff, manage admin and clinical support, ensure adherence to healthcare legislation, and drive continuous process improvements in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 completed.
• Tertiary qualification in Business Admin, Healthcare Management or related field is advantageous but not essential.
• Minimum 3 years’ management experience in a leadership role.
• Minimum 5 years’ clinical or healthcare industry experience in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Experience managing administrative and operational functions of a medical practice beneficial.
• Strong understanding of healthcare operations, patient administration, compliance and staff management.
• Excellent management, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full operational management of a multidisciplinary medical practice.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare legislation and organisational policies.
• Lead branch operations covering clinical support, admin and front-office processes.
• Drive implementation of national operational initiatives and local improvements.
• Monitor workflows to maintain efficient, professional practice operations.
• Manage relationships between health professionals, staff, patients and leadership.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and control costs.
• Oversee manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding and performance management.
• Ensure staff supervision, scheduling, accountability and ongoing performance management.
