Job summary

Dante Personnel Recruitment (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Materials Handling Manager in Germiston to oversee the final stages of the manufacturing process, including assembly, packing and dispatch.

The role demands experience in high-volume manufacturing, supervisory capabilities, and strong planning and problem-solving skills to ensure efficiency and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• A relevant qualification in Production, Operations, Manufacturing, Logistics or Supply Chain will be advantageous.
• Minimum 3–5 years' relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous supervisory or management experience.
• Experience in a high-volume, fast-moving manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing assembly, packing, materials handling and/or product flow.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
• Good planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee assembly, packing, materials handling and flow of finished products to Dispatch.
• Ensure production requirements, quality standards and delivery deadlines are met.

Materials Handling Manager Germiston
R45 000 CTC Per month
Our client, a well-established manufacturing company, is looking for a Materials Handling Manager / Packing Manager to take responsibility for the efficient movement and flow of products through the final stages of the manufacturing process.
The role will oversee the assembly, packing, materials handling and flow of finished products through to Dispatch, ensuring that production requirements, quality standards and delivery deadlines are consistently achieved.
This is a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment involving small industrial products, and the successful candidate must be comfortable working in an operational environment where efficiency, productivity and attention to detail are critical Minimum requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric
