Takealot Group in Cape Town seeks a Marketplace Onboarding Intern to join Takealot.com. This 18-month contract offers hands-on exposure to onboarding, lead vetting, and customer/seller support in a fast-paced ecommerce environment.

You will work with Zendesk and Salesforce, develop data accuracy and process improvements, and learn from industry leaders. The program focuses on building technical and soft skills for a successful career in ecommerce.

Qualifications

• N6 certificates and diplomas relevant to business and marketing.
• Strong communication and detail orientation.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily onboarding and vetting of marketplace leads.
• Manage Zendesk tickets and respond to seller enquiries within SLA timelines.
• Support Salesforce task management and escalated stalled items when necessary.
• Conduct research and assist with process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate data and provide operational support to the Onboarding Coordinator.
