Job summary

Staff Unlimited Recruitment Pty Ltd seeks a Sailing Schedule Administrator to optimize maritime logistics. You will ensure accurate vessel itineraries, maintain schedules, and manage cut-off times in collaboration with shipping lines and internal teams.

The role focuses on monitoring shipments, auditing data, and providing support to senior operations staff to improve workflows within a Western Cape-based team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in logistics/shipping/maritime operations.
• Proficient in Excel, R, and familiar with C and data tools.
• Strong communication and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, adjust, and capture vessel itineraries in tracking systems.
• Maintain up-to-date vessel schedules reflecting real-time timelines.
• Review SI cut-off times and deadlines per operational requirements.
• Track shipments and containers throughout their transit lifecycle.
• Audit systems and reports to detect and correct data errors.
• Identify discrepancies and escalate service delivery issues with providers.
• Build relationships with internal teams and external providers through clear communication.
• Provide ad-hoc admin support to senior operations teammates.
