Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to drive manufacturing process improvements in Vereeniging. You will collaborate with production, engineering and IT to optimize workflows, implement new technologies, and reduce costs while boosting quality.

The role requires 6+ years in project management within manufacturing, a relevant engineering degree, and strong leadership and analytical abilities to deliver measurable results.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in project management with a focus on manufacturing/process improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field; Six Sigma or Lean certifications valued.
• Proven experience implementing process improvements and lean manufacturing.
• Strong analytical capabilities to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of manufacturing process improvement projects.
• Analyze current processes to identify efficiency, quality, and cost reduction opportunities.
• Develop detailed project plans with timelines, resource needs, budgets and KPIs.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, supply chain and IT to implement changes.
• Manage risks and issues with mitigation strategies for smooth execution.
• Track progress and report outcomes against objectives to management.
