You will analyze workflows, implement improvements, and develop new process strategies while applying lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and 5S techniques. The position offers a hybrid work model in Gauteng with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• 4+ years in manufacturing engineering or process improvement.
• Strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma.
• Experience with process simulation and data analysis tools.
• CAD proficiency for layout and tooling design.
• Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional leadership.

This role is crucial for enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and ensuring the highest quality standards in their manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for analyzing existing workflows, implementing improvements, and developing new process strategies to support company growth and innovation. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and a proven ability to drive operational excellence within a busy production environment in the Gauteng province.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies for process optimization, waste reduction, and cost savings.
• Design and document new manufacturing procedures, workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Collaborate with production teams, quality control, and R&D to ensure seamless process integration.
• Implement lean manufacturing techniques such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S.
• Evaluate and recommend new equipment or technologies to enhance production capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
