About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative and experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their team in Nelspruit . This role is integral to optimizing the efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness of our client's manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions through process design, automation, and technology adoption. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in manufacturing systems and a passion for continuous improvement, contributing to the company's commitment to operational excellence and technological advancement in the production of high-quality goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and implement manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
• Develop and optimize production layouts, workflows, and material handling systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Lead projects for the implementation of new equipment, automation, and technologies within the production environment.
• Collaborate with R&D, quality assurance, and production teams to ensure seamless process integration and continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing Process Engineer role or similar.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and process optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in process simulation software, CAD, and data analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Experience with automation and robotics in a manufacturing setting is highly desirable.
