Placements24 in Nelspruit is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our client’s team in a hybrid role. You will analyze production data, optimize processes, and implement automation to improve quality and reduce costs.

You will collaborate with on-site production teams and remote colleagues to design new processes, develop SOPs, and troubleshoot issues ensuring safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a production environment.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing principles, automation, and process control.
• Proficiency in CAD software and data analysis tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, balancing on-site and remote responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs and work instructions.
• Collaborate with R&D and design teams on new product introductions and design for manufacturability.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of workplace safety.
