Placements24 is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Industrial Engineer to join their Rustenburg team. The role focuses on optimizing manufacturing operations, improving efficiency, quality, and safety, and driving continuous improvement. The position offers a hybrid on-site and remote work model in Rustenburg.

The candidate will analyze production lines, implement new technologies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and performance KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and TQM knowledge.
• Experience with production planning, scheduling, and capacity analysis.
• Proficient in CAD software and process simulation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks and improve throughput.
• Design and optimize factory layouts, material flow, and workstation ergonomics.
• Develop and implement SOPs to ensure consistency and quality.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve issues.
• Research and recommend new technologies and equipment to enhance capabilities.
• Track and report on KPIs like OEE, cycle time, and scrap rates.
