Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our Centurion facility. You will oversee and optimize manufacturing processes, work hands-on with production lines, troubleshoot issues, and implement engineering solutions to meet targets.

The successful candidate will drive continuous improvement, focus on productivity, cost reduction, and maintain high safety and quality standards while collaborating with R&D and QA teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
• Proven experience with process design, automation, and production line optimization.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and statistical process control (SPC).
• Experience with CNC machining, robotics, or other manufacturing technologies is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes and production systems.
• Monitor production performance, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to meet targets.
• Optimize equipment utilization and troubleshoot technical issues on the production floor.
• Lead projects related to new product introductions, process upgrades, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards in the manufacturing environment.
• Collaborate with the R&D and quality assurance teams to resolve production-related challenges.
