Placements24 is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the operational integrity of a Rustenburg manufacturing facility. The role focuses on routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment failures, and ensuring machinery runs safely and efficiently to minimize downtime.

A hands-on candidate with strong mechanical and electrical skills will contribute to proactive equipment care and continuous production flow.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
• Experience with various tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• A strong commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on all production machinery and equipment according to schedules.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic system failures promptly.
• Install, dismantle, and assemble machinery as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests to minimize production interruptions.
