Placements24 is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in Bloemfontein to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of industrial equipment. This hands-on position minimizes downtime through routine maintenance, diagnosing issues, and executing repairs across various machinery.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, electrical troubleshooting skills, and a proactive safety mindset, with the ability to resolve complex problems efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on all industrial machinery and equipment according to schedule.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues on production machinery.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to guide repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and issues resolved.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies during maintenance operations.
