Placements24 is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician in Bloemfontein to support manufacturing operations onsite. You will maintain and repair a range of industrial machinery, perform preventative maintenance, and read technical drawings to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.

Qualifications

Trade qualification or equivalent experience required.
Proven experience in industrial maintenance in manufacturing.
Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.

Responsibilities

Perform routine preventative maintenance on plant machinery and equipment.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system failures.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform emergency repairs.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals to troubleshoot.
Maintain logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
