Job summary

Bidvest Facilities Management is seeking an experienced maintenance engineer to implement an effective maintenance system across client facilities and ensure SLA delivery.

The role requires a national Diploma/Degree or BTech in Engineering and at least 5 years in maintenance engineering, CRM & Property Management, with SAP and MS Office proficiency. Valid SA Driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering maintenance, CRM and property management experience.
• MS Office and SAP knowledge required.
• Relevant engineering qualification and matriculation.

Responsibilities

• Drive timely execution of maintenance strategies (planned, preventive, corrective, emergency).
• Implement an effective HSE, Quality & Risk Management system.
• Ensure optimum utilization of resources across maintenance works.
• Ensure timely delivery and availability of parts and spares.
• Monitor and evaluate maintenance work for quality, cost and SLA adherence.
• Identify gaps and drive continuous improvement in FM services.
• Manage back-to-back SLA agreements with suppliers and contractors.
• Monitor contractors’ performance and take corrective actions as needed.
• Provide technical support for projects and infrastructure maintenance.
• Demonstrate adherence to maintenance processes and best practices.
