Job summary

Bidvest Facilities Management is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to implement an effective maintenance system across client facilities in KwaZulu-Natal. The role focuses on delivering SLA-compliant maintenance through planned, preventive, corrective, and emergency activities, while optimizing resources and costs.

Qualifications

Matric and engineering qualification required.
At least 3 years' facilities maintenance experience.
Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
Knowledge of OHS Act and quality management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Identify maintenance risks on client property and equipment for evaluation and resolution.
Drive timeous execution of maintenance strategies including planned, preventative, corrective and emergency maintenance.
Ensure optimal use of resources across maintenance works.
Plan shift rosters and manage leaves for technicians.
Monitor and coach technical staff to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
Manage budget and performance, resolving conflicts per policy.
