The role focuses on leadership, staff development, and coordination with kitchen and management to maintain high service standards and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Head Waiter or Senior Waiter
• Experience in a luxury hotel, restaurant or wine estate
• Excellent food and beverage knowledge
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Hands-on approach and professional presentation

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant service and ensure smooth floor operations.
• Lead, supervise and support the waitstaff team.
• Allocate sections and responsibilities to ensure efficient service.
• Ensure excellent guest relations and attend to guest requests.
• Maintain high standards of service, presentation and professionalism.
• Assist with staff training and development.
• Ensure the restaurant is correctly set up before and after service.
• Liaise with the kitchen and management teams to ensure seamless operations.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve service-related issues professionally.
