The ideal candidate will have prior Duty Manager or Assistant Hotel Manager experience in luxury settings, strong leadership, and excellent guest relations skills.

Qualifications

• Experience as Duty Manager or Assistant Hotel Manager.
• Experience in luxury hotel, wine estate or boutique hospitality is advantageous.
• Strong leadership and communication skills required.
• Excellent guest relations and problem-solving abilities essential.
• Good organisational and administrative skills.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure departments function efficiently.
• Be the point of contact for guests and handle queries or complaints professionally.
• Supervise front-of-house operations and support departmental teams.
• Maintain high standards of guest service, presentation and hospitality.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, F&B and maintenance teams.
• Monitor staff performance and assist with training and development.
• Conduct operational checks and maintain property standards.
• Assist with guest arrivals, departures and special requests.
• Address operational challenges and report to senior management.
