Job summary

Carrol Boyes is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to drive sales, deliver premium customer experiences, and lead a high-performing store team in a luxury retail environment. You will manage stock, merchandising, and daily store operations while upholding brand standards.

You will recruit and train staff, optimise schedules, and ensure excellent service, stock accuracy, and compliant operations. Prior luxury retail experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 minimum requirement.
• Retail management experience is preferred.
• Luxury brands experience is an advantage.
• Strong customer service, stock management and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to train employees and lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales and profitability to meet and exceed targets.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, engage customers and close sales.
• Manage stock, stock counts, and visual merchandising in line with brand standards.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop store staff; manage schedules.
• Ensure daily store operations run smoothly, including cash handling and reporting.
• Prepare and communicate regular performance and operational updates to management.
