Job summary

Placements24 is partnering with an exclusive luxury resort in Sandton, Gauteng, to hire a strategic and creative Resort Marketing Manager. The role leads integrated marketing, brand oversight, digital initiatives, content creation, and partnerships to grow brand awareness, guest acquisition, and revenue.

The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years in luxury hospitality marketing, strong analytics, storytelling, and a track record of successful campaigns; a hybrid work model is offered with on-site events

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• 5–7 years of marketing experience, preferably in luxury hospitality.
• Proven ability to deliver measurable campaigns and ROI.
• Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels and analytics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; storytelling skills.
• Creative thinker with branding and visual aesthetics.
• Experience in public relations and media management.
• Hybrid work model with on-site events in Sandton.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement integrated marketing plans to achieve resort objectives.
• Manage the resort’s brand presence across online and offline channels.
• Oversee digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, social media, email, and website.
• Create marketing content, including website copy, social posts, brochures, and press releases.
• Develop relationships with media, influencers, and travel industry partners.
• Analyze campaign performance and report on key metrics and ROI.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities.
• Manage the marketing budget effectively.
• Collaborate with Sales, F&B, Operations to ensure consistent branding.
• Drive initiatives to enhance reputation and guest engagement in Sandton.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field
