Placements24 is seeking an experienced and visionary Food & Beverage Director for a renowned luxury resort in Cape Town, Western Cape. You will lead all F&B outlets, including fine dining, bars, banqueting, and in-room dining, driving innovation and profitability.

You will develop strategic menus, mentor the F&B team, and partner with the Executive Chef to ensure a cohesive guest experience while maintaining the highest standards of quality, service, and compliance in a high-end hospitality

Formación

• 8+ years of progressive experience in food and beverage management, with 4+ years in a director role in luxury hospitality.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field; Master's preferred.
• Proven track record in P&L management, cost control, and revenue generation in F&B.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of wine, spirits, and current culinary trends.
• Experience with event planning and large-scale banqueting operations.
• Proficiency in F&B management software and POS systems.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in Cape Town.

About the Role

Our client, a renowned luxury resort situated in the picturesque coastal city of Cape Town, Western Cape , is seeking an experienced and visionary Food & Beverage Director. This executive position is crucial for developing and executing innovative culinary strategies that define the resort's dining experience. You will be responsible for managing all F&B outlets, including fine dining restaurants, bars, banqueting, and in-room dining, ensuring exceptional quality, service, and profitability. The successful candidate will be a creative leader with a deep understanding of global culinary trends and a passion for creating memorable experiences for a discerning clientele. This role requires a strategic approach to menu development, staff training, and operational efficiency within a high-end hospitality environment.
