Job summary

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Lodge Manager for a luxury lodge in Klaserie, Mpumalanga. The role involves supporting day-to-day operations and ensuring exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure.

The ideal candidate has lodge management or supervisory hospitality experience, strong administrative and communication skills, and familiarity with reservations software. Live-in position with a competitive package commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in lodge management or hospitality supervisory role.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Excellent guest relations and communication abilities.
• Experience with reservations systems and lodge administration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day management and smooth lodge operation.
• Ensure exceptional guest experiences from arrival to departure.
• Support Front of House operations, guest relations, and lodge administration.
• Oversee daily lodge activities and coordinate departments.
• Manage guest requests, feedback and special requirements professionally.
• Assist with staff supervision, training, and performance management.
• Support stock control, procurement and inventory processes.
• Maintain lodge standards, policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, kitchen and guiding teams.
• Assist with reporting, scheduling and operational planning.
