Job summary

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Lodge Manager for a luxury game reserve in Limpopo. The role requires strong leadership to oversee day-to-day lodge operations and a proven track record in luxury hospitality. You will manage staff, guest relations, and ensure premium service across departments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Lodge Manager or senior lodge management role in luxury safari lodges or game reserves.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage diverse teams.
• Excellent financial and operational management capabilities.
• Solid understanding of hospitality standards, guest relations and lodge operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily lodge operations with highest service and hospitality standards.
• Lead, motivate and manage the lodge team to maintain a professional environment.
• Ensure guest satisfaction from arrival to departure, addressing needs and concerns.
• Manage budgets, control costs and monitor expenditure for financial performance.
• Oversee stock control, procurement and inventory management.
• Maintain housekeeping, F&B, maintenance and lodge presentation to luxury standards.
• Coordinate with kitchen, FOH, housekeeping and guiding teams for seamless operations.
• Monitor staff performance and provide ongoing training aligned with policies and standards.
• Ensure health, safety and hygiene regulations are followed throughout the property.
• Assist with developing procedures to improve efficiency and service delivery.
• Build strong relationships with guests, suppliers and team members.
• Uphold the reputation of a luxury safari hospitality environment.
