Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a Receptionist & Manager Assistant for a luxury lodge and guest house in KwaZulu-Natal. The role combines front-of-house reception with support for the General Manager, and a willingness to assist across departments is essential.

The ideal candidate is 100% fluent in English, well-presented, with strong organizational and communication skills, and ready to start immediately. Live-in accommodation and meals are included, with salary starting from R8,000 depending

Qualifications

• Experience in a luxury lodge or guest house setting.
• General management, guest relations, and front desk operations knowledge.
• Familiarity with lodge systems and stock control.
• 100% fluency in English (verbal and written).
• Must hold a valid driver’s license; own transport preferred due to limited public transport.

Responsibilities

• Manage front-of-house duties including guest check-in/out and reservations.
• Provide warm, professional guest interaction, particularly during dining services.
• Assist the Manager with operational tasks and departmental relief as required.
• Oversee or support various departments including kitchen, housekeeping, and stock control.
• Handle staff coordination and assist in team supervision.
• Manage bookings and reservations (experience with SEMPER is an advantage).
• Maintain administrative records and assist with stock taking and procurement.
