Network Recruitment seeks a driven Business Development Manager to grow our footprint across South Africa and the broader SADC region. You will lead from prospecting to closing, focusing on intralogistics and warehouse automation solutions.

Engage with senior stakeholders and craft tailored value propositions showing clear ROI. You will drive regional expansion and build long-term relationships with key clients in diverse sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Engineering, Logistics, or Business.
• Minimum 5-10 years experience in: Logistics solutions / warehouse automation / material handling.
• OR complex industrial / capital equipment sales.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across key sectors including retail, FMCG, ecommerce, 3PL, manufacturing, and pharmaceuticals.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with a mix of short-term and long-cycle projects.
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
• Engage with senior stakeholders (Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Executive level)
• Develop tailored solutions demonstrating clear ROI and business impact.
• Lead responses to RFQs, RFPs, and tenders.
• Develop competitive pricing strategies and commercial proposals.
• Navigate procurement processes within large organisations.
• Support growth into SADC markets and cross-border opportunities.
