Mh Solutions in Johannesburg seeks a Senior Manager, Business Development to drive contract logistics growth. You will identify large-scale opportunities, develop a sales strategy, and manage end-to-end cycles from prospecting to closing, aligning solutions with client needs.

You will lead tender processes, craft compelling value propositions, and build a multi-year pipeline, coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver profitable, high-quality logistics solutions.

Qualifications

• Matric is required; tertiary qualifications in logistics or supply chain preferred.
• 10 years of experience selling complex logistics solutions to multinational customers.
• Knowledge of SharePoint, MS Visio and ERP/Logistics systems (SAP/Red Prairie) advantageous.
• Strong negotiation, strategic thinking and sales skills are essential.
• Experience negotiating with director or C-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Exceed personal new business targets within defined verticals.
• Manage the opportunity lifecycle through to closure.
• Develop compelling value propositions for new opportunities.
• Articulate value and align client objectives with contract logistics goals.
• Lead tenders and RFQs, ensuring on-time delivery of proposals.
• Build and maintain a multi-year pipeline for growth.
• Ensure CRM data is accurate and opportunities progress through the sales cycle.
• Facilitate successful implementation of solutions and revenue realization.
