Job summary

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of proven business development, sales or key account management experience within logistics, warehousing, freight or supply chain.
• Demonstrable track record of winning significant new business and achieving revenue targets.
• Established network of client relationships and decision-makers within logistics, manufacturing, retail, FMCG, mining or related sectors.
• Strong commercial negotiation and deal structuring capabilities.
• Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.
• Confidence and credibility to engage with senior executives and negotiate at a strategic level.
• Understanding of logistics operations, pricing, margins and competitive positioning.
• Self-starter who operates independently and takes ownership of commercial results.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and securing new business opportunities across logistics, warehousing, freight and supply chain services.
• Leveraging an established industry network to access decision-makers and accelerate deal flow.
• Developing and executing targeted business development strategies across key industries.
• Managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through to commercial negotiation and deal closure.
• Structuring commercially viable proposals that protect margin while remaining competitive.
• Growing existing accounts through upselling, cross-selling and service expansion.
• Building relationships with C-suite executives, procurement leaders and senior operations stakeholders.
• Maintaining a healthy commercial pipeline and delivering against revenue and new business targets.
• Working closely with operations and commercial teams to ensure successful client onboarding and service delivery.
