Job summary

Maersk in South Africa seeks an Integrated Business Development Manager to drive new business growth and develop strategic customer relationships across industrial manufacturing, project logistics and energy sectors.

You will lead end-to-end supply chain solutions, own negotiations, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated offerings. A strong hunter mentality and 5+ years in logistics sales are essential.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in freight/logistics sales or project logistics.
Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain solutioning and consultative selling.
Experience selling into industrial manufacturing, mining, energy, renewables, infrastructure or oil & gas.

Responsibilities

Build and execute targeted account strategies in industrial manufacturing, project cargo and energy segments.
Develop and maintain a high-quality sales pipeline through proactive hunting.
Drive new business acquisition via prospecting, networking, and value-based selling.
Understand customer supply chain needs and translate into tailored solutions.
Position and sell end-to-end logistics and supply chain offerings.
Own commercial discussions, negotiations, and closing of new business.
Collaborate with CX, Product and Operations teams for delivery excellence.
Ensure successful onboarding and long-term customer satisfaction.
Gather market intelligence to refine targeting and positioning.
