Staff Solutions in South Africa is seeking an Operations/Logistics professional to process and record customer nominations, manage orders in BC, and coordinate with supervisors on stock requests. The role requires attention to detail, strong administrative skills, and effective communication with customers.

You will handle pre-release activities in Gasrite, ensure adherence to procedures, maintain reporting accuracy, and support senior team members in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric is required.
• 3-5 years' relevant experience in an Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, or similar environment.
• Experience in order processing and administration will be advantageous.
• Experience with ERP or operational systems will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Process and accurately record customer collection nominations.
• Provide daily customer updates according to distribution lists.
• Create and manage Sales Orders on Business Central, including payment follow-up for CIA customers.
• Process contractual customer orders from Bulk Sales Orders and escape amendments where required.
• Liaise with supervisors regarding ad hoc stock requests.
• Process orders in Gasrite and complete required pre-release activities.
• Follow operational procedures, including vehicle verification and order release controls.
• Record, distribute, and track orders and maintain accurate reporting systems.
• Monitor stock issuance to ensure it remains within authorised limits and escape exceptions.
• Ensure orders are processed within agreed timelines and communicate any delays to supervisors and customers.
• Maintain accurate operational records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding collections, orders, and delivery status.
• Provide administrative and operational support to senior team members.
• Participate in operational and team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with current operational procedures and documentation requirements.
