You will oversee schedules, respond to operational challenges, and ensure compliance with transport regulations in a hybrid on-site/remote setup. Night shifts are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work a night shift.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and dispatch drivers and vehicles to ensure timely pickups and deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage delivery schedules and optimize routes for efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.

• Liaise with clients to provide updates on shipment status and address inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and company policies.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports on dispatch operations and performance metrics.

Requirements

• Excellent understanding of South African road networks and traffic patterns.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams.
• Proficiency in using dispatch software, GPS tracking systems, and standard office applications.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are advantageous.
• Familiarity with the Centurion, Gauteng, ZA area is a plus.
• Must be willing to work a night shift schedule.
