Job summary

Primeserv Denverdraft is recruiting a Customer Service Agent for a Durban-based logistics client to keep clients informed from booking to delivery, solving queries, and ensuring confidence in the service. The role requires problem-solving, strong follow-through, and comfort across ticketing, email, and WhatsApp; experience in parcel/freight management is a plus.

You'll work with internal teams to provide accurate updates and ensure service excellence.

Qualifications

Experience in customer service and hands-on problem-solving.
Ability to think outside the box to find solutions for clients.
Comfortable working across multiple communication channels (ticketing system, email, WhatsApp).
Strong follow-through and attention to detail.
Experience with a parcel/freight management system is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Provide clients with feedback and updates via their ticketing system (primary) and Outlook email.
Use WhatsApp to manage internal and client communication groups, an important part of how the client operates.
Book collections and delivery appointments, and manage pre-alerts.
Follow up on deliveries and appointment bookings to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Work with your Team Leader to escalate queries where needed and ensure service excellence.
Liaise with internal and external ops teams to feed accurate updates back to customers.
Perform daily checks on outstanding queries and follow up through internal systems.
