Qualifications

• National Diploma or BCom/BTech in supply chain fields.
• 5+ years in logistics scheduling or dispatch/expediting.
• Experience with loading/offloading methods in transport.
• SAP TMS experience is advantageous.
• Proficient in MS Office and SAP documentation.

Responsibilities

• Schedule transport across the value chain for stock and customer deliveries.
• Compile optimal loading and delivery schedules.
• Source capacity and allocate loads to transporters (own fleet and 3PLs).
• Generate SAP documentation including shipments and loading instructions.
• Ensure transporters have required documentation and permits.
• Ensure supplier compliance with safety and scheduling rules.
• Continuously track schedule execution and adherence.
• Conduct dynamic rescheduling to accommodate changes.
• Implement corrective controls to meet schedule demands.
• Monitor demurrage charges from 3PLs and reduce costs.
• Identify gaps and improve scheduling rules; report on performance.
• Maintain the unit operations plan and communicate objectives daily.
• Monitor unit business processes for compliance and improvements.
• Drive effective utilization of unit systems and procedures.
