About the Role

Our client is seeking a proactive and organized Logistics Coordinator to manage the efficient movement of goods within their FMCG operations. This fully remote role requires meticulous planning and execution to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products. You will be responsible for coordinating transportation, managing carriers, and optimizing delivery routes to meet customer demands. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule daily transportation operations, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and freight carriers.
• Track shipments, monitor delivery progress, and proactively resolve any logistical issues or delays.
• Optimize transportation routes and modes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and company policies.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, delivery times, and transportation costs.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and customers regarding logistical arrangements.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator or in a similar role, preferably within the FMCG industry .
• Solid understanding of logistics operations, transportation modes, and supply chain principles.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in logistics software and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for managing carrier relationships.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further certification in logistics is a plus.
