About the Role

Our client, a key player in the FMCG supply chain , is looking for a meticulous and organized Logistics Coordinator to join their team in Welkom . This role is essential for ensuring the efficient and timely movement of goods, managing inventory, and optimizing transportation routes. You will play a vital part in maintaining the flow of products from suppliers to distribution centers and ultimately to customers, ensuring the smooth operation of the FMCG distribution network in the Free State. This position demands strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods, ensuring on-time delivery and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor inventory levels, manage stock movements, and ensure accurate record-keeping within the warehouse management system.
• Liaise with suppliers, transportation providers, and internal departments to resolve any logistical issues.
