Job summary

Staff Unlimited Recruitment is seeking a Logistics Controller for our client in the Agriculture Industry. The role focuses on providing logistics support for specific markets, stock allocation, and coordinating day-to-day operations.

The successful candidate will have computer literacy (Word/Excel/Outlook), experience in fruit export logistics, and strong numerical and planning skills. You will manage bookings, stock, and reporting in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Computer literacy with Word and Excel plus Outlook.
• Knowledge of Iroot for pallets, bookings, day-to-day processing and reports is advantageous.
• Relevant experience in fruit export/logistics.
• Intermediate numerical abilities (calculations and numerical reasoning).
• Planning, organising and accuracy are essential.
• Action oriented; problem solving, decision making, and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Bookings creation/cancellation and follow-up for specific markets.
• Vessel bookings with shipping lines.
• Allocating of stock and sending loading instructions.
• Pull, validate and distribute packing lists; manage stock allocations.
• Risk report analyses: unallocated/allocated stock, depot capacity, weight restrictions, vessel tracking.
• Invoicing: approval and querying freight/forwarding invoices.
• Planning: program management and management of stock.
• General: provide logistical support and operational analyses.

Logistics Controller

Our client in the Agriculture Industry is seeking a Logistics Controller to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing logistics support for specific markets and assisting in market stock allocation and general operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Computer Literate (Word / Excel (intermediate level) / Outlook)
• Knowledge of Iroot for allocating pallets, bookings, day to day processing and reports is advantageous
• Relevant experience in the fruit export industry
• Intermediate numerical abilities (calculations and numerical reasoning, reconciliations)

Bookings:

• Bookings creation/cancellation and follow up for specific markets

• Allocating of stock
