Job summary

Wild Dreams Hospitality is seeking a hands-on Lodge Manager to oversee operations for a multi-faceted lodge. You will lead maintenance, F&B and accommodation functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day management and exceptional guest experiences.

You will direct a diverse team, liaise with wedding coordinators and spa staff, and take full ownership of property performance. Immediate start preferred, with January 2027 as latest start date.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Lodge Manager or similar senior hospitality management role.
• Strong knowledge of property maintenance, incl. septic systems, with the ability to direct maintenance teams.
• Solid understanding of accommodation, restaurant and lodge operations.
• Strong leadership and staff management skills.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the property.
• Available to start immediately, with a latest start date of January 2027.

• Oversee daily operations across accommodation, restaurant and general lodge functions
• Direct and manage maintenance requirements, including septic tank and general infrastructure issues
• Lead, manage and support the broader lodge team
• Liaise with wedding coordinators and spa staff to ensure smooth overall property operations
• Maintain service and operational standards across the lodge
• Support game drive and guided walk operations from a management perspective
• Handle general administrative and operational duties as required

Job description

The lodge is known for its mountain scenery, weddings, award-winning spa and on-site restaurant. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to run a multi-faceted hospitality property end to end. The lodge already has dedicated wedding coordinators and spa staff in place, so the focus here is on overall lodge operations, maintenance oversight and team leadership rather than event or spa management.

Core Criteria:

• Proven experience in a Lodge Manager or similar senior hospitality management role
• Strong working knowledge of property maintenance, including septic tank systems, with the ability to direct maintenance teams on repairs
• Solid understanding of accommodation, restaurant and general lodge operations
• Strong leadership and staff management skills
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of the property
• Available to start immediately, with a latest start date of January 2027
