Job summary

Wild Dreams Hospitality seeks an inspiring management couple to run two lodges in Limpopo with warmth and integrity, ensuring guest delight. You will lead operations, manage budgets, and drive service excellence while mentoring staff and upholding safety standards.

The role requires a strong background in luxury safari hospitality, a relevant qualification, PDP, and a proven ability to coach a team. Live-in arrangements are provided; no children or pets allowed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years leadership experience in luxury safari hospitality.
• Couple only; no children or pets.
• Relevant qualification in hospitality or tourism.
• Valid PDP.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and accounting knowledge.
• Working knowledge of human resource management.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Confident and comfortable engaging with affluent guests.
• Well-presented, honest, self-motivated, and able to perform under pressure.
• Strong references and a clean track record are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manage both lodges, taking full responsibility for day-to-day operations.
• Oversee budgets, financial forecasting, and cost control in conjunction with head office.
• Maintain exceptional guest service and drive continuous improvement across every guest touchpoint.
• Host agents, media, and VIP groups, as well as general guests.
• Lead daily briefings with heads of department to plan arrivals, departures, maintenance, and special requests.
• Coach, mentor, and develop staff, including onboarding, training plans, and performance management.
• Oversee staffing levels, leave rosters, payroll, and HR processes.
• Uphold health and safety standards in line with company policy and legislation.
• Champion sustainability initiatives that reduce environmental and community impact.
• Act as custodian of all operational equipment.
• Build strong relationships with staff, the local community, and industry partners.

• In-depth understanding of lodge operations, finance, and staff management
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and accounting knowledge, with solid computer skills
• General technical and mechanical knowledge
• Working knowledge of human resource management
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and inspire a team
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Confident and comfortable engaging with affluent guests
• Well-presented, honest, self-motivated, and able to perform under pressure

• Package of R70,000 to R80,000 depending on experience
