Job summary

Craven Cottage CC located in Philippolis is seeking an experienced lodge manager to oversee all aspects of lodge management including staff training, guest relations, and operational efficiency. Duties

• Meticulous in all aspects of managing the lodge
• Managing, Overseeing Staff with the General Manager
• Staff training and development
• Assisting the marketing manager to get content for social media
• Hosting Duties
• Allocation of Airport Transfers
• Assistance around the lodge in other departments if needed
• Stock control and stock takes
• Manage the housekeeping and front office departments in conjunction with HOD
• Ensure the lodge maintains the required standards aesthetically
• Assist with Events planning and execution
• Assist with menu planning and cost control

Requirements

• Grade 12
• A formal qualification will be an advantage
• At least 2+ years’ experience in a high-end lodge environment
• Valid RSA Driver's License will be an advantage
• Computer literate
• Exceptional Guest Relations skills
• Ability to manage staff
• Understanding and ability to manage the different departments
