Job summary

Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate in Walker Bay, Hermanus, seeks a Luxury Villa & Accommodation Manager (live-in preferred) to run the entire accommodation business across twelve luxury villas and Benguela Manor. You will own the guest journey from inquiry to departure and ensure flawless presentation and revenue performance.

You will manage bookings, RoomRaccoon, housekeeping, maintenance, and lead the guest services teams with authority and warmth to sustain five-star standards and memorable

Qualifications

• At least five years managing luxury villas, hotels, lodges or private reserves, with a two-year leadership track record.
• Strong command of property management and booking systems; RoomRaccoon experience is an advantage.
• Proficient Excel skills and ability to generate clear reports.
• Proven five-star ratings and high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Commercial sense with focus on occupancy, rates and revenue.
• Able to lead with authority and warmth and retain good people.
• Wine interest and willingness to build knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage all villa and Manor bookings, confirmations, payments, deposits and guest communications.
• Run RoomRaccoon day-to-day with accurate rates and availability.
• Drive occupancy and revenue in collaboration with sales and travel trade teams.
• Oversee housekeeping, presentation and maintenance across every villa with daily inspections.
• Lead and train housekeeping, grounds and guest services teams.
• Design memorable arrivals, welcome touches and special-occasion moments.
• Resolve guest issues promptly and protect five-star reviews.
• Manage budgets, suppliers and maintenance schedules.
