Benguela Cove Lagoon Wine Estate in Walker Bay, Hermanus, seeks a Luxury Villa & Accommodation Manager (live-in preferred) to run the entire accommodation business across twelve luxury villas and Benguela Manor. You will own the guest journey from inquiry to departure and ensure flawless presentation and revenue performance.

You will manage bookings, RoomRaccoon, housekeeping, maintenance, and lead the guest services teams with authority and warmth to sustain five-star standards and memorable

Competenze

• At least five years managing luxury villas, hotels, lodges or private reserves, with a two-year leadership track record.
• Strong command of property management and booking systems; RoomRaccoon experience is an advantage.
• Proficient Excel skills and ability to generate clear reports.
• Proven five-star ratings and high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Commercial sense with focus on occupancy, rates and revenue.
• Able to lead with authority and warmth and retain good people.
• Wine interest and willingness to build knowledge.

Luxury Villa & Accommodation Manager (Live-in preferred)

About Us

Benguela Cove is a five-star wine estate on the Walker Bay coast, with twelve luxury villas and Benguela Manor at its heart. We need a manager who runs the whole accommodation business, from the booking to the final inspection, and who will not let a standard slip.

You will own both the guest journey and the revenue. Every villa will be flawless before the guest arrives, every booking handled with precision, and every departure leaves a reason to return.

What you will do

• Manage all bookings and the full reservations process for the villas and the Manor, including enquiries, confirmations, payments, deposits and guest communication.
• Run RoomRaccoon day to day, with accurate rates, availability, add-ons and reporting.
• Drive occupancy, direct bookings and revenue, working alongside our sales and travel trade team.
• Own housekeeping, presentation and maintenance across every villa, with daily inspections and a pre-arrival inspection before every check-in.
• Lead, train and hold accountable the housekeeping, grounds and guest services teams.
• Design arrivals, welcome touches and special-occasion moments that guests remember.
• Resolve guest issues personally and immediately, and protect our five-star reviews.
• Manage budgets, suppliers and maintenance schedules.

What you bring

• At least five years managing luxury villas, five-star hotels, lodges or private reserves, with at least two years leading a team.
• Strong command of property management and booking systems. RoomRaccoon experience is an advantage.
• Computer literacy to match: Excel, email and reporting at ease.
• A track record of five-star ratings and an exacting standard of cleanliness and presentation.
• Commercial sense, with confidence in occupancy, rates and revenue.
• The ability to lead with authority and warmth, and to keep good people.
• Wine interest and knowledge, or the appetite to build it.
