Family Office in Cape Town seeks a highly organized General Manager to oversee luxury private properties. You will manage maintenance, vendor coordination, budgets, and guest experiences to uphold impeccable standards year-round.

You will lead seasonal staff and contractors, ensure safety and compliance, and collaborate with clients and service providers to deliver superior hospitality and presentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as GM or estate manager in luxury hospitality
• Strong understanding of property maintenance and vendor management
• Excellent budgeting and multi-vendor contract management
• Discreet, guest-focused mindset with high service orientation
• Strong communication and independent problem-solving skills
• Familiar with Cape Town local compliance and safety regulations

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate maintenance and service activities to keep property pristine year-round
• Build and manage seasonal operational plans for guest use and off-season care
• Develop and control the annual budget with vendors and service quality
• Lead external vendors and seasonal staff to maintain high standards
• Prepare property before guest arrival and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, permits and safety requirements
• Provide regular reporting to ownership and propose efficiency improvements
