Placements24 seeks an experienced Leisure Centre Operations Supervisor to lead a front-line team and oversee daily operations in Vereeniging, Gauteng. The role blends on-site management with administrative duties to ensure excellent customer service, safety, and operational efficiency.

You will supervise reception, fitness instructors, and maintenance staff, manage budgeting and staff rotas, and ensure facilities meet safety standards while delivering engaging leisure programs and events.

Competenze

• Minimum supervisory/management experience in leisure, hospitality or fitness.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations for leisure facilities.
• Ability to manage operational budgets and staff rotas.

Mansioni

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the leisure centre per policies.
• Manage and motivate receptionists, fitness instructors, and maintenance staff.
• Oversee facility cleanliness, safety, and maintenance; address issues promptly.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints and feedback to ensure satisfaction.
• Assist in planning and executing leisure programs, events and promotions.
• Manage staff scheduling, training and performance appraisals.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations including emergency procedures.
