Job summary

Rosebank College, part of the Independent Institute of Education (The IIE), seeks a lecturer in information systems to deliver module-based lectures, coordinate assessments, and support student success across postgraduate modules. Qualifications

• Master’s degree (NQF 9) in information systems/computer science or information technology including a research methodology subject and dissertation.
• Honours Degree in Information Systems/Computer Science/Information Technology at NQF 8 plus a master’s degree including a research methodology component and dissertation.
• Lecturing/tutoring experience in research methods and development of research models, preferable at postgraduate level.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lectures and engage students per module pacers.
• Update learning materials and consult the Information Centre.
• Prepare students for assessments and provide feedback on learning management system.
• Monitor and analyze student module results and identify at-risk students.
• Attend academic meetings and contribute to module development.
