Job summary

The Independent Institute of Education (The IIE) invites applications for a Learning Technologist to join the ACE ED Tech & Innovation Team in Sandton. You will build courses in the LMS from design specs and create interactive media.

Collaborating with instructional designers and academics, you will ensure accessibility, quality, and governance. A bachelor's degree in IT or multimedia and 2+ years in LMS development are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in IT or multimedia.
• Honours level degree advantageous.
• Professional development in eLearning content design considered.

Responsibilities

• Translate design into fully built LMS courses using authoring tools.
• Create, configure, test interactive activities and multimedia in LMS.
• Ensure development is high quality and meets deadlines.
• Ensure accessibility and quality standards before launch.
• Collaborate with IDs and academics to align learning experiences.
• Develop and maintain project timelines and templates.
