Placements24 in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, seeks a Senior Industrial Engineer to drive Lean transformation across our client’s manufacturing operations. You will champion waste reduction, implement data-driven improvements, and mentor teams to sustain a culture of continuous improvement.

The role requires a Master's in Industrial Engineering with 7+ years in industrial engineering and proven Lean leadership (Black Belt/Master Black Belt preferred).

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in industrial engineering with Lean experience.
• Lean facilitator or Black Belt / Master Black Belt preferred.
• Proven record leading large-scale Lean transformations in manufacturing/ process industries.
• Strong knowledge of Lean principles, tools, and philosophies.
• Excellent facilitation, coaching, and communication skills.
• Experience with data analysis and performance metrics tracking.
• Willing to relocate to Stellenbosch, Western Cape, with hybrid work.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Lean transformation strategy across all operational areas.
• Identify and eliminate waste (Muda) in all forms.
• Implement Lean tools such as VSM, 5S, Kaizen events, Kanban, Poka-Yoke, TPM.
• Train, coach, and mentor employees on Lean principles.
• Develop and track KPIs to measure Lean impact.
• Conduct process audits to sustain Lean practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Lean in product development and process design.
• Develop business cases and project plans for significant improvements.
• Facilitate cross-functional problem-solving sessions and continuous improvement workshops.
• Communicate progress and outcomes of Lean programs to stakeholders.
