Placements24 client, a premier wine and spirits producer, seeks an Industrial Efficiency Engineer in Paarl to optimize production, improve resource use, and drive sustainable efficiency across manufacturing and bottling operations.

You will apply industrial engineering methods, conduct time and motion studies, and lead continuous improvement projects while ensuring safety and quality standards. This role offers a hybrid work model in Paarl and growth opportunities within a dynamic industry.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in industrial engineering, focusing on process optimization.
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation ability.
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis; experience with simulation software is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional work.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
• Experience in the food and beverage or related processing industries is advantageous.
• Understanding of quality management systems.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze production and operational data to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize material flow, equipment utilization, and labor productivity.
• Utilize Lean Manufacturing principles and tools to eliminate waste and improve process performance.
• Conduct time and motion studies and workflow analyses.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with production managers, supervisors, and line operators to implement changes and ensure buy-in.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects focusing on cost reduction and quality enhancement.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards within the production environment.
• Prepare reports and presentations on efficiency improvements and project outcomes.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies in industrial efficiency.
