Placements24 is seeking a proactive Industrial Engineer near Stellenbosch to focus on operations analysis and optimization within production and bottling facilities. You will analyze complex data, identify bottlenecks, and develop data-driven solutions to improve throughput and reduce costs.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with process modeling and simulation, and the ability to collaborate across operations, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to sustain

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or closely related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in industrial engineering focused on operations analysis and optimization.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis software and simulation tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze production, packaging, and distribution to identify bottlenecks.
• Model operations with statistics and simulations to evaluate changes.
• Design optimized process flows, schedules, and resource plans.
• Conduct time and motion studies to set performance standards.
• Collaborate with ops, QA, and supply chain to implement improvements.
• Develop KPIs to monitor performance and trends.
• Document processes, maps, SOPs, and reports.
• Identify opportunities for automation to boost efficiency.
• Present findings and updates to management and teams.
• Support continuous improvement and data-driven decisions.
