Placements24 client, a premier wine and spirits producer, seeks an Industrial Efficiency Engineer in Paarl to optimize production, improve resource use, and drive sustainable efficiency across manufacturing and bottling operations.

You will apply industrial engineering methods, conduct time and motion studies, and lead continuous improvement projects while ensuring safety and quality standards. This role offers a hybrid work model in Paarl and growth opportunities within a dynamic industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in industrial engineering, focusing on process optimization.
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation ability.
• Proficiency in Excel for data analysis; experience with simulation software is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional work.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
• Experience in the food and beverage or related processing industries is advantageous.
• Understanding of quality management systems.

Responsabilités

• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing methodologies, including Kaizen events, 5S, and value stream mapping.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex operational data.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
• Experience with simulation software is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
