Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing production processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement in Vereeniging.
• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
• Develop and maintain SOPs and work instructions for production tasks.
• Conduct time and motion studies to optimize workflow and resource allocation.
• Implement lean principles such as Kaizen and 5S to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with QA to ensure processes meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in facility layout design and production line optimization.
• Develop and monitor KPIs related to production efficiency and cost.
• Provide technical support and training to production staff.
• Research and recommend new technologies and equipment to improve capabilities.
